I am collaborating with other scholars and translators to put together an anthology of prose by Mexican modernist Manuel Gutiérrez Nájera, translated into English.

I am currently working on a book manuscript on editorial history and the translation of Latin American literature during the twentieth century. My project draws heavily on archival research and includes case studies of texts by: Fernando Ortiz (Cuba), Germán Arciniegas (Colombia), Martín Luis Guzmán (Mexico) and João Guimarães Rosa (Brazil).
