I am an educator and writer with journalistic, academic, and literary publications in three languages (English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese).
I hold a doctorate in Hispanic literature from Boston University.
I was a Fulbright scholar in Brazil (University of São Paulo) and a fellow at the Harry Ransom Center (UT Austin).
I have taught literature and writing courses in Spanish and in English in the U.S., Argentina, and Ecuador.
In recent years, I have primarily devoted my energy to literary projects and journalistic pieces. My journalistic work focuses on issues related to inclusion, equity, and social justice. Currently I am writing a book (creative non-fiction) about motherhood.
